McCaughan, D’Arcy LCSW
Life can seem unmanageable at times. Finding a good therapist can be a difficult and exhausting process. You are not alone. Most of us find ourselves feeling stuck at some point, feeling lost and hopeless. As your therapist, I will validate your feelings and encourage you to work toward your goals by identifying personal strengths and minimizing negative thinking habits. I utilize CBT strategies by helping you to re-frame your perspective on difficult situations, help you to set healthy boundaries and put yourself first. I find most clients don’t feel they deserve to lead happy, healthy lives. Please join me as we embark on this new journey together and learn to love life again. My specialization is in adults who need assistance with substance use, anxiety, depression, PTSD and bi-polar disorder. Therapeutic modalities I use are CBT, MI, psychodynamic, Seeking Safety/grounding and narrative therapy.
